About this tool

The input must be a JSON array where every item is an object — the keys from those objects become the CSV header row, and each object becomes one data row. If a value itself contains a comma, quote or line break, it's automatically wrapped in quotes (with any internal quotes doubled) so the resulting CSV parses correctly wherever you open it.

Nested objects or arrays inside a field aren't flattened automatically — CSV is a flat, tabular format, so deeply nested JSON structures don't have a single obvious CSV representation. Keep your JSON objects flat (one level of simple key-value pairs) for a clean conversion.

Frequently asked questions

This tool expects flat objects — CSV is inherently tabular and doesn't have a standard way to represent nested structures. Flatten nested fields into top-level keys before converting if you need them in the CSV.
